Great Swim - Tao Li!

Our flying fish, Tao Li did not disappoint us by getting the silver in the women's 100m butterfly on the 1st day of the Asian Games!  Excellent indeed:) And congrats to the other fellow competitor: Park Tae Hwan.  A new games record under his belt for Men's 200m freestyle.
Will there be other surprise wins for us?

School and Sports

Do school and sports mix?  We get the unfortunate news that Parker Lam will not be competing in the Asian Games 2010, due to school commitments.  How ironic that he had enrolled in one of the top swimming colleges in the USA, and not allowed to compete in a major meet representing our state...

In ST today, Team Singapore's Tao Li gave an impression of an exhausted mind, but raring to go!  Or is she??
And to the swimmers who're back to swim for Team Singapore from oversea's studies, Quah Ting Wen, Parker Lam, good to have you back!
And to our youngest swimmer, Samantha Yeo..do us proud!
